Mallorca 312

First up is the Mallorca 312, surely you must have heard about this magnificent cycling event in Mallorca! It is quite rightly, one of the most famous and emblematic Cyclosportives in the cycling calendar;  an international event with riders from all over the world but with a Mediterranean vibe. It is much more than a Cyclosportive, ridden over closed roads on an amazing route, it's no wonder this event has captured the imagination of cyclists from around the world. The next edition of the Mallorca 312 is the 25th April 2020,  Pre-registration is now open which includes accommodation with various packages. 

The Mallorca 312 is a challenge of over 312 kms of 5.050 m of gradients making it a significance test of endurance. Even so, the atmosphere of this event is very relaxed, overflowing with companionship, passion and fun. During this cycling event in Mallorca, participants tour the most magical places on the island which has become, according to the organizers, "the epicentre of European cycling". 

XXII International Challenge - A Masters Cycling week in Mallorca

Another classic on the island! If you like cycling events in Mallorca, whether you are a fan or a pro cyclist, you cannot afford to miss the Masters Vuelta a Mallorca, part of the XXII International Masters Cycling Challenge Week. Seven days full of adrenaline and passion with wheels that do not stop turning as they pass through the most beautiful places in Mallorca.

This year, the 4 stages will be held from October 15th to 18th, 2019. The first one, Oct 15th, will start from Llucmajor, to be exact from Passeig Jaume III, at 09:15 for the Masters 50-60 category the route is 65.7 km long. The signature control will be carried out between 08:25 and 09:05 in the morning. The Masters 30-40 will start later at 11.30.

The second stage will be held on October 16th, starting from the Plaza de España in Lloseta. The third stage on the 17th in Port de Pollença starting from Pro Cycle Hire to Cri Port de Pollença. Finally, on the 18th, the fourth stage will take place between the Restaurant Tolo's and the Port of Pollença (Avenida Londres).

The XXV European Master Cup

At the end of the XXII International Challenge Cycling week comes the XXV Master European Cup. This year it will take place on October 20th, 2019 at the Playa de Palma, a beach right in the middle of the city.

It is one of the most renowned cycling events in Mallorca so you can expect a lot of exciting action. If you are a fan cycling and you are on the island on the day, do not miss it for the world! You won´t be disappointed.

The schedules and races  distances for this event are as follows:

- Master 50 & 55: Departure at 09:30 from the Nova Beach Lounge. There are seven laps, a total of 59,9 km. Finishing at 11:00  at the Nova Beach lounge.

- Master 60 & 65: starts at 09:45 in Es Pil·larí  after 6 laps (51,7 km), it will  finish at the Nova Beach Lounge at 11:00.

- Master 30 & 35: Starting from the Nova Beach Lounge, the starting signal will go off at 11:20  and  it will finish at 13: 20, 10 laps, a total of 84,5 km.

- Master 40 & 45: It starts in the Nova Beach Lounge at 11:20 and ends at 13:20, like the previous one it has 10 laps  (84,5 km). 

The Ironman

This is not just a cycling race, but a very famous triathlon that is held every year on the island of Mallorca. Once again in 2020, the island will host this great event: the IRONMAN 70.3 Alcúdia - Mallorca. During the cycling stage of this amazing sporting event, participants will ride through numerous typical Mallorcan villages, all of outstanding natural beauty.

The event will be held on May 9th, 2020,  set mainly in Alcúdia, in the north of the island, one of the most famous regions in Mallorca. With modern infrastructures, a wonderful medieval walled historic centre and a fantastic bay with over 30 km full of dreamy beaches facing the Mediterranean Sea. Alcúdia is without a doubt, an idyllic setting for the IRONMAN.

What’s more, the IRONMAN will also offer 40 qualifying positions for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship 2020 in Taupõ, New Zealand. It is unquestionably, one of the best sporting and cycling events in Mallorca.
