Since a few years ago, in summer the road is closed to private vehicles to avoid crowds, so it is one of the quietest routes for cyclists, who will enjoy the road practically for themselves.
To do this route you can leave from Playa de Muro and go to Formentor, passing through Alcudia. The route that borders the coast is of medium difficulty and suitable for the majority as it is not too steep. The best part of the route? The incredible views of the Mediterranean that await you when you reach your destination, the Formentor Lighthouse.
This circular route is one of the most evenly balanced cycling routes in Mallorca. It has a climb at the start, although the return is almost all downhill so you won't get too tired. The route starts in Palma and goes to the municipality of Calvià, passing through the Coll de Sa Creu, so it is a perfect way to get to know the area.
