 Alcúdia Town

The beautiful town of Alcúdia is surrounded by medieval walls that were built between the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries to protect the town from invaders. Behind these imposing walls lies a pretty old town with cobbled streets lined with plant pots.

During your holidays in Alcúdia, it is worth going to the top of the walls, from there over the rooftops and above the streets of Alcúdia, you will get an amazing panoramic view over the bay of Pollensa.

The restaurants in the old town of Alcúdia are stunning and offer a wide variety of cuisine from Thai to typical Mallorcan food; you are spoilt for choice.

And if shopping is your thing, then there are plenty of shops to browse. What’s more? On Tuesdays and Sundays, a traditional market is held in the old town of Alcúdia, a great place to try the typical local food or search out that special souvenir to take home.

Port d` Alcúdia

For lovers of the sea and magical sunsets, then the harbour in Port d`Alcúdia is the place to be, you can stroll along the promenade that overlooks the boats while savouring the magical views. Plus, there are some fab restaurants to choose from, and if the summer temperatures are getting just a bit too much, then why not take a paddle in the sea to cool off? Just like the town, the harbour and port area have lots of shopping opportunities, from clothes and shoes to local crafts.

Many tourists rent boats so that they can enjoy Alcúdia and its bay from a different angle and it’s something we’d suggest you do if you can. A day out on a boat soaking up the summer sun is what holidays are made for.
